Westminster Dog Show starts at 8 PM EST at Madison Square Garden. Forget the Super Bowl, Daytona 500 and the Olympics - dog lovers everywhere excited about the Westminster Dog Show. This is where all the best dogs in the country compete for a very prestigious award.2500 competition will include dogs and will take 2 days to complete. "Best in show" - the highest honor - will be given by 11 tomorrow, February 16.
Major, a miniature pinscher from Callicoon, has won Best of Breed at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.
Named Ch. Kimro's Soldier Boy, Major has now won consecutive titles breed at Westminster. His father, Sarge, won the honors in 2007 and '08. The Kimro's clan is now the dominating force in the miniature pinscher world.Major later tonight will Compete in the Best of Group competition.
