he Best Actress winner for the Oscars 2010 is Sandra Bullock, who got nominated for her role in The Blind Side, directed by John Lee Hancock, and starring Tim McGraw and Quinton Aaron, besides Sandra Bullock. The plot of the film revolves around the relationship between the three protagonists. Sandra Bullock became the winner of the Best Actress Award for the Oscars 2010 Justify Fullfor her brilliant portrayal of the character of Leigh Anne Tuohy. This is not the first award that she has won for her portrayal of the character, however. She had also won the Golden Globe award for best actress, and also the Screen Actors Guild Award, in the same category.

Amidst much speculation as to who will take home the most number of Oscars, there was one movie that beat all odds to become the big winner for the night: and that movie was “The Hurt Locker” which took away six awards.
Another much anticipated award was the Best Actress award. There was tough competition between Meryl Streep (”Julie & Julia”), Gabourey Sidibe (”Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire”), Carey Mulligan (”An Education”) , Helen Mirren in “The Last Station”, but it was finally Sandra Bullock won Best Actress for her role in “The Blindside.”
